CMS issued a proposed rule July 2 updating the home health prospective payment system, renaming the home health groupings model and increasing payments to home health agencies by 2.1 percent. The rule allows for remote patient monitoring under Medicare and takes aim at the home infusion therapy industry with the expectation of added accreditation and safety standards.
