Bill Allows Nurses to Approve Home Health
The Home Health Care Planning Improvement Act of 2019 would allow nurse practitioners, certified nurse-midwives, clinical nurse specialists, and physician assistants to approve Medicare beneficiaries’ need for in-home care. The bill has been introduced before, but failed to gain traction.
