The conference includes the first ever HDMS boot camp

DAVISON, Mich. (February 13, 2017)—Universal Software Solutions, Inc. (USSI), a provider of practice management solutions for the home healthcare markets, announced today the date for its 2017 User Conference of September 19–21, 2017. The HDMS (Health Care Data Management System) User Conference will be held again this year at the newly remodeled Embassy Suites Hotel in Livonia, Michigan.

“This is USSI’s third HDMS user conference and it is expected to draw the largest number of participants and industry experts,” says conference director Phil Deschaine. “In addition to our sessions on billing, inventory and industry topics, we have added Boot Camp which will allow our users to get a comprehensive training on all aspects of HDMS software in just two days.”

The HDMS Users Group was created in 2015 to provide USSI’s HME providers with the most current information on the HDMS software, industry updates and sharing of best practices. “For the same reason we launched our USS Academy, here at USSI we believe that knowledge is the key to our client’s success.” says Christopher Dobiesz, President of Universal Software Solutions, Inc.

For 2017 there will be tracks on each of the following topics: Auditing, Accounts Receivable and Billing, Inventory, Document Management, Industry and Regulatory Changes and Specialty Pharmacy.

“The success of our Conferences is due to the strong participation of our users, and the help of our HDMS Conference Committee that picks topics that are important to our users” according to Deschaine. The Conference Committee consists of the following industry leaders: Chris Ayshford from the Mayo Clinic, Arron Brummitt and Derek Damstra from Carelinc Home Medical, Jennifer Kostowniak from Buffalo Wheelchair, Amy Lawson from Prometheus Group Inc, Mary Ellen Spradlin owner of Health Care Reimbursement Solutions, and Greg Swanson of Hammer Medical Supply.

Past HDMS User Conferences have been included USSI partners Zirmed, McKesson, Allegiance Group, Philips Sleep & Respiratory Care, Vantiv. These companies provide information on USSI integrations and training to the HDMS Users.

“Each year the HDMS User Conference becomes more important to the hundreds of companies using HDMS across the United States. Everyone involved in this planning the 2017 conference is committed to making it our best HDMS User Conference," says Dobiesz.
