PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. (May 4, 2017)—Partnering with H. Strattner and White Martins to distribute new medical products to the Brazil market, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare will exhibit at Hospitalar May 16–19 in São Paulo.

Introducing several products to the market, Drive DeVilbiss will display the DeVilbiss 5 Liter Oxygen Concentrator, SleepCube CPAP System and Sidhil by Drive hospital and long-term care beds.

The DeVilbiss 5 Liter Oxygen Concentrator features a less than 5 percent failure rate and is among the top concentrators in the world for providing oxygen to patients. The SleepCube CPAP Systems provide onboard SmartCode Technology to promote compliance and communication with the clinician and also boasts exceptional quality. In addition, the Sidhil by Drive brand prides itself in satisfying the highest standards for safety, reliability and design to meet the increasingly high demands of the modern hospital environment.

“Due to a lack of reliable oxygen supplier options and service, market recession and reimbursement challenges, distributors in Brazil are continually challenged in providing quality respiratory care,” said Wally Haddick, Drive DeVilbiss VP of sales, Latin America. “However, White Martins recognizes the high quality, low failure rate globally, and proprietary internal design of the DeVilbiss concentrator will actually take cost out of their supply chain, and we are excited to be their partner.”

According to Lourival Nunes, technology and applications manager for White Martins, the need for long-term oxygen treatment continues to increase the global need for efficient oxygen therapy solutions. Non-equipment costs account for a large part of the cost of treatment and when a product fails or is difficult to administer, the costs, problematic factors and need for resources increase, adding significant expenses.

“For this reason,” Nunes said, “the use of high-tech equipment and quality, such as the DeVilbiss Oxygen Concentrator, are fundamental to offering an excellent service to patients who need oxygen, especially those in the home care environment.”

“As our distributing partner with more than 65 years in the Brazilian hospital marketplace, we are excited to rely on the expertise of the H. Strattner team,” said Haddick. “Our Sidhil by Drive brand offers high-quality hospital and long-term care beds and pressure prevention solutions, and we are positive this partnership will prove to be extremely successful for both companies.”

“We are proud to represent Sidhil by Drive products exclusively in Brazil,” said Aylton Oliveira, marketing director for H. Strattner. “These products will add a great value to the product line already developed by H. Strattner.”

“These modern hospital beds,” said Marcos Doniste, product manager for Strattner, “are quality designed to meet the most diverse clinical needs and in different environments, as well as a wide line of high-quality static and dynamic hospital mattresses, providing ease of use and assisting in patient care.”

The Hospitalar event is the leading health care event in the Americas, bringing together 90,000 hospital leaders, professionals and health thinkers. With more than 1,200 brands exhibiting, the Hospitalar includes medical equipment, products and services, working as a stage for new releases and meeting point between suppliers and customers.
