Forms, signatures reviewed before next delivery

MEDIA, Penn. (October 9, 2017)—Apacheta Corporation, a mobile business solutions provider, launched its latest product, Forms Manager, which offers the ability to maintain compliance by ensuring all required forms are reviewed at the time of service.

“Delivering HME/DME products and services to patients is a very complex and detailed workflow involving a significant amount of forms and processes mandated by regulations and payers. Each delivery is unique and requires particular handling, including specific instructions, paperwork and patient education,” said Gregg Timmons, CEO of Apacheta. “Unfortunately, without checks and balances, a form or signature can easily get missed, requiring technicians to return for a second visit just to complete documentation. To eliminate the unnecessary time wasted on patient revisits, we’ve created a first-of-its-kind for the HME/DME industry with new software that ensures all forms and signatures are reviewed for each unique delivery before the technician can complete a stop and move onto their next delivery.”

With Forms Manager, HME/DME providers now can create a list of required forms for each delivery within Transport Manager that can be customized based on the type of visit and equipment needed. During every delivery, when the technician is using TransportACE, Forms Manager provides a required forms list to walk through, notifying if a key form that must be reviewed is missed before the stop can be marked completed. Forms Manager is also integrated with Brightree Document Management for easy storage and updating patient files.

“We are very much looking forward to integrating this software onto our existing Apacheta platforms,” said Ann Cornelius, vice president of operations at DASCO Home Medical Equipment. “Our technicians have a lot on their plates and it really is easy to miss reviewing one form with a customer. With this new offering, we can now ensure all required documentation is complete at every delivery and all accreditation requirements have been met.”

Apacheta will be onsite at Medtrade in Atlanta, Georgia, October 23-25 in the Brightree booth (#1211) to demonstrate the capabilities of Forms Manager and explain the benefits of this new compliance-oriented enhancement.

Apacheta provides mobile business solutions that streamline the workflow management and the delivery of products and services to a variety of markets, including health care, transportation, field services and consumer goods.
