BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (April 8, 2019)—Cahaba Media Group is pleased to announce that Hannah Wolfson has joined the company as editor of HomeCare Magazine.

Wolfson previously served as director of communications at Birmingham-Southern College (BSC), where she oversaw the writing, editing and production of the university’s external communications and served as editor of the school’s alumni magazine, “’Southern.”

She also created and executed the university’s branding, public relations and marketing strategy, as well as writing for both print and digital media.

Before BSC, Wolfson worked at the Birmingham News and AL.com as a reporter for nine years, covering the health and higher education beats, among others. From 1997 to 2001, she worked as a reporter for the Associated Press in Salt Lake City, Utah and Nashville, Tenn.; she served as a business reporter and covered the Mormon church. From 2001 to 2003 she worked as a freelance reporter, writing for the Associated Press, Boston Globe, and other publications, and taught reporting at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.

Wolfson is a native of Washington, D.C., and has a BA in English from Dartmouth College.
