SHOREVIEW, Minn. (April 11, 2019)—Maxwell Healthcare Associates (MHA), a home health and hospice consulting firm, announced tremendous company growth led by tripling its year-over-year top-line performance. In the last year MHA doubled its customer base, more than tripled its consultant count, added new partners and broadened its service lines.

This continued company momentum speaks to home health and hospice’s need for experienced and trusted advisors amid the industry’s ongoing regulatory and quality demands. The company also announced two new partnerships.

Recruiting
In the last two quarters, MHA hired more than 40 additional home health and hospice consultants, tripling last year’s team member count. Leadership plans to continue a rigorous recruiting push throughout the year to meet the needs of projected growth.

Partnerships
In addition to new team members, MHA has established two new partnerships. Midstate Communications and HMA Genetics. The former is a home health and hospice after hours answering service and the latter, a predictive medication response genetic testing company.

“With so many vendors in the market, it can be overwhelming for providers to research and select quality partners that will truly help improve efficiency and care quality,” said Tom Maxwell, MHA co-founder and co-CEO. “Part of our mission is to scout and forge partnerships with the most innovative and valuable vendors in the space, to alleviate monotonous research, trial and error for our clients.”

Midstate Communications and HMA Genetics mark two of Maxwell’s six official partnerships—all established in the last year. Other partners include, Swift Skin and Wound, Gateway Coding and Consulting, Excel Health and Enclara Pharmacia.

Service Lines
While MHA’s services have always spanned home health and hospice’s relevant operational, technological, regulatory, clinical and financial needs, they’ve traditionally specialized in EMR implementations and optimizations. In the last year though, MHA has experienced a new demand for its mergers and acquisitions services including brokerage, due diligence and post-implementation optimization.

“As health care systems continue to realize the importance of quality home health and hospice care in the transition to value-based care, the need for M&A assistance continues to increase,” said Jennifer Maxwell, MHA co-founder and co-CEO. “With years of experience in the industry and an ear to the ground, we’re becoming the go-to firm for any and all M&A needs.”
