Welcome a new VP of national accounts, CFO and director of marketing

OLD FORGE, Pa. (June 7, 2017)—Golden Technologies announces the appointment of several new employees who will help lead dynamic growth within the organization.

Cy Corgan as Vice President of National Accounts
In this newly created position, Cy is responsible for expanding upon and building relationships with strategic accounts in the U.S. home medical equipment and aging in place health care market.

“We are extremely fortunate to have Cy Corgan join the Golden team. His wealth of knowledge in the HME industry is right in line with Golden’s vision as we continue to expand our retail product line,” said C.J. Copley, Golden’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “He brings extensive experience in the HME and eCommerce arenas and we welcome Cy’s contributions as he helps provide guidance to our sales force.”

Corgan has served in the HME industry for the past 25 years. Most recently, he served as National Sales Manager with EZ-ACCESS, the leading brand in the home accessibility market. Previously, Cy held the position of director of strategic accounts at Pride Mobility Products, Corp., where he successfully increased Pride’s retail and eCommerce footprint.

Jack Byrne, Chief Financial Officer
In this newly created position, Jack is responsible for the financial management of the organization and improving processes to achieve profitable growth.

“As a key member of our executive management team, Jack will serve in a strategic role in the overall management of the company, along with the executive team. We welcome his contributions as he assumes the primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company,” said Rich Golden, CEO.

Jack has more than 25 years of experience in financial management in manufacturing environments. For the last 12 years, he served as CFO at EXTOL, a privately owned software company based in Pottsville, Pa. He has held positions at companies which include Uniroyal, Playtex, Sara Lee Branded Apparel and Morgan Knitting Mills in Hometown, Pa. He also has expatriate international experience in Puerto Rico, Scotland, Germany and Italy.

Chris Carroll, Director of Marketing
Chris is responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to take Golden’s retail brand to the next level. She will support the dealer network and sales organization to maximize use of marketing tools as well as create new resources to support retail initiatives.

“Chris brings extensive marketing communications experience in the health care arena to her role. Her strong writing and strategic planning skills will be an asset to Golden. Chris is passionate about community relations and is heavily involved with local initiatives. We welcome her contributions as she guides our marketing and communications efforts and strengthens our community relations program,” said Copley.

Chris has more than 20 years of experience in public relations and marketing. Most recently, Chris served as the Director of Annual Giving & Alumni Relations at The Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton. She previously served as the marketing communications director for Moses Taylor Health Care System and the director of communications for The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce. She currently serves on the board of directors at The Arc of Northeastern Pennsylvania and is a member of the Healthcare Innovation Committee for the 2017 Northeast Pennsylvania TecBRIDGE Innovation Conference.
